The role
We are looking for someone who is:
Passionate about applied parasitology and agricultural research
Practical, thorough, and able to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and precision
Comfortable working both in laboratory and outdoors/field environments
Keen to learn, adaptable, and ready to support a range of ongoing scientific projects
A collaborative team member who contributes positively to lab
Experience required
Enthusiastic, reliable and willing to get stuck into both lab and field tasks
Experience with basic lab skills such as microscopy, sample handling and working with biological samples
Comfortable working with livestock or willing to learn
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
A team player who’s happy to support colleagues across multiple ongoing projects
Desirable
Experience in parasitology, animal science, ecology, or related disciplines.
Experience identifying nematodes or invertebrates.
Prior fieldwork or farm‑based sampling experience.
Confidence managing lab consumables or contributing to lab organisation.
